Version
This is where we mark what version of Portal Prodigy you are running. Please note that this is also the version used to create this help page. If the version you are running is newer or older there maybe differences in layout and options.
Your Organization
You can setup here to display your company name. To do this, go to Site Settings Defaults and fill out Admin Page Title.
Main Administration Menu
This pulldown menu displays the currently selected side bar menu. There are four default side bar menus in Portal Prodigy. They are:

1.Contacts
Contacts side bar menu allows you to quickly administrate functions that has to do with Contacts such as view edit contact information, view contact requests, or send them an email. When you click on Contacts it will expand to show you all the submenus.
2.Companies
Companies' side bar menu allows you to quickly administrate functions that have to do with Companies such as add new company, or edit company feature settings. When you click on Companies it will expand to show you all the submenus.
3.Orders
Orders side bar menu allows you to quickly administrate functions that have to do with Orders such as view edit orders, fulfill orders, or add a new work order. When you click on Orders it will expand to show you all the submenus.
4.Billing
Billing side bar menu allows you to quickly administrate functions that have to do with Billing such as view invoices, or print statements. When you click on Billing it will expand to show you all the submenus.
5.Payaments
Payments side bar menu allows you to quickly administrate functions that have to do with Payments such as enter a new payment, or review en existing one. When you click on Payments it will expand to show you all the submenus.
6.Products
Products side bar menu allows you to quickly administrate functions that have to do with Products such as add a new product, adjust the inventory, or build a product catalog. When you click on Products it will expand to show you all the submenus.
7.Marketing
Marketing side bar menu allows you to quickly administrate functions that have to do with Marketing such as build an ad, a newsletter, or send out a press release. When you click on Marketing it will expand to show you all the submenus.
8.Documents
Documents side bar menu allows you to quickly administrate functions that have to do with Documents such as enter a new document, view edit existing one, or categorize them into custom categories. When you click on documents it will expand to show you all the submenus.
9.Reports
Reports side bar menu allows you to quickly administrate functions that have to do with Reports such as view and print reports, or add a new type report. When you click on reports it will expand to show you all the submenus.
10.Dashboard
Dashboard side bar menu allows you to quickly administrate functions that have to do with Dashboard such as view or customize it. When you click on dashboard it will expand to show you all the submenus.
11.Other features
Other Features is packed up with all the features that we couldn't categorize. If you are looking for something that doesn't meet the criteria this is a good place to check. When you click on other features it will expand to show you all the submenus.
12.Site Settings
Site Settings side bar menu allows you to quickly administrate functions that have to do with the entire Site. You can setup the site's defaults and security settings here. When you click on the site settings it will expand to show you all the submenus.
13.Web Pages
Web Pages side bar menu allows you to quickly administrate sites dedicated pages such as home page, about us, and contact is page. You can also view and manage every other type of web page you have added to the site here. When you click on other web pages it will expand to show you all the submenus.
14.Tools
Tools site bar menu gives you quick access to every builder type tools. You will find here your menu builder, table builder, play list builder, picture gallery builder, etc. When you click on the tools it will expand to show you all the submenus.
15.Utilities
Utilities side bar menu allows you to quickly administrate functions that have to do with database utilities such as archive, reindex, import, and export. When you click on utilities it will expand to show you all the submenus.
Shortcut Box 1
This is a shortcut box for the side bar menu. Each section on the side bar is numbered and each item is lettered. Entering a number with a letter corresponding to the item you want followed by enter will take you directly there. This section is really for someone who is very familiar with Portal Prodigy and has memorized the interface.
Search Criteria
This Search Criteria allows you to search by none, one, by multiple or, by all filters to best filter you results.
Include deactivated records in search results
You may check this box to include deactivated records in your search results.
Feature
Requests Feature is used to search for Items that are used by Requests & Help Desk Feature Component for service fees. As you can see Requests is already selected and grayed out. This is because in this page you can only search and select Requests Type Item.
Record ID
Record ID is used to limit your search to a specific Feature record when Feature is selected. E.g. if you set Feature to "Events" you may enter the record ID of a specific Event to limit the display of Items created for that Event. This ID search must be exact to get results. For example, entering 1 will find only record ID 1 and 11 or 111 will not be found.
Product ID
Product ID is used to search for a specific Item by the Item ID. Note that Product ID and Item ID are the same thing. This is the ID that is automatically assigned by the system to each Item. This ID search must be exact to get results. For example, entering 1 will find only record ID 1 and 11 or 111 will not be found.
Gender
Gender is used to search for Items by Gender. Options include:

All - includes all Items regardless of Gender. This is the default filter option.
Male Only - includes only Items with Gender set to Male.
Female Only - includes only Items with Gender set to Female.
Universal - includes only Items with Gender set to Universal.
Product Name
Product Name criteria allow you to search for items by the Product Name. You may also enter partial name to get larger results. For example, "Product" you may enter "pr" and Portal Prodigy will display all the items that start with "pr". You are not limited to how many letters you are going to use, the more letters you use the more refined results you will get. Portal Prodigy searches for the product names from begging of the first word, so entering "ct" will not bring up "Product" result. This search criteria is not case sensitive.
Accessories
Accessories are used to search for Items categorized as Accessories. Options include:

Include - includes Items categorized as Consumables.
Ignore - includes all Items regardless of consumables categorization. This is the default filter option.
Limit To - includes only Items categorized as Consumables.
Exclude - includes only Items not categorized as Consumables.
Product Code
Product Code is used to search for Items by product code. Product Code is the part number you assign to an Item. It must be entered exactly; Portal Prodigy will not find the Product Code based on partial filter. This search criteria is not case sensitive.
Consumables
Consumables are used to search for Items categorized as Consumables. Options include:

Include - includes Items categorized as Consumables.
Ignore - includes all Items regardless of consumables categorization. This is the default filter option.
Limit To - includes only Items categorized as Consumables.
Exclude - includes only Items not categorized as Consumables.
Manudacturer
Manufacturer is used to search for Items by Manufacturer name. Manufacturers are defined in Companies Management as Companies with Company Type set to Manufacturer.
Vendor
Vendor is used to search for Items by Vendor name. Vendors are defined in Companies Management as Companies with Company Type set to Vendor.
Brand
Brand is used to search for Items by Brand. Brands are defined in Product & Inventory Features Management.
Display in Mini Browser
Display in Mini Browser is used to search for Items by Display in Mini Browser setting. Options include:

All - used to include all Items regardless of Display in Mini Browser setting. This is the default filter option.
Yes - used to search for Items with Display in Min Browses set to Yes. These are Items that are highlighted by displaying them on the Home page in the Products/Shopping Mini Browser.
No - used to search for Items with Display in Mini Browses set to No.
Product Search Type
Product Search includes a list box for selecting a specific field to search on. The default value "All" will search on all of the fields that are listed. The fields listed are the same field selections that are offered in the Product Search for customers. If you add more categories in Product Detail Categories Management you may use them here as a filter.
Product Search Box
Product Search Text Box allows you to search by the value set in one of these categories. You must select one of the categories in the list box to use the custom value search box; leaving it on "All" will not find any results. You may also enter partial value to get larger results. For example, "Product" you may enter "pr" or "du" or "ct" and Portal Prodigy will display all the products that contain values of any of these combination of letters. You are not limited to how many letters you are going to use, the more letters you use the more refined results you will get. Portal Prodigy searches for the fields values in any part of all the words used. This search criteria is not case sensitive.
Value Rating
Value Rating is used to search for Items with a specific Value Rating. The rating is based on a scale 1 to 10. The default value for this filter is "All".
Quality Rating
Quality Rating is used to search for Items with a specific Quality Rating. The rating is based on a scale 1 to 5. The default value for this filter is "All".
Price Rating
Price Rating is used to search for Items with a specific Price Rating. The rating is based on a scale 1 to 5. The default value for this filter is "All".
List Price Range From
List Price Range is used to search for Items within a specified List Price Range. Use this box to specify the minimum defined List Price and filter items from minimum and up.
List Price Range To
List Price Range is used to search for Items within a specified List Price Range. Use this box to specify the maximum defined List Price and filter items from maximum and down.
Price Range From
Price Range is used to search for Items within a specified Sales Price Range. Use this box to specify the minimum defined Sales Price and filter items from minimum and up.
Price Range To
Price Range is used to search for Items within a specified Sales Price Range. Use this box to specify the maximum defined Sales Price and filter items from maximum and down.
Date Created From
Date Created, here you can enter the date range for up to how new records you would like to see. For example if you were to enter todays date, only the records created today will be found and all the older records will be filtered out. The date range will include the date you specify. Our date entering format is "MM/DD/YYYY".

Product Type
Product Type is used to search for Items by Product Type. Product Types are defined in Product & Inventory Features Management.
Classification
Classification is used to search for Items by Classification. Classifications are defined in Product & Inventory Features Management.
Items Per Page
Items per Page allow you to control how many items will be displayed on per page basis. The default value is 10 which will display up to 10 items per page. You may enter a greater value but, please note that entering a very big value will take a much longer time to display results and or, may cause your search request to crash if there is a lot of data to process.
Search
The Search button allows you to submit your search request. You may click it at any time with or without filtered criteria. Search is a hotkey that can be accessed by "Ctrl+Alt+S".
Quick Search on Product Name
Quick Search on Product Name allows you to simply click the first letter for the product name you are looking for and search result will appear automatically.
Found Items
Found Items is initially not displayed when you first come to this page. You have to click search for this dialog to appear.
Number of Pages
This section displays the number of pages found in your search request. When there are multiple pages and you are not on the first page you will see here navigation controls. The first button will take you back to the first page and the second button will take you back to the previous page.
Total Matches
This section displays the number of matches found in your search request. When there are multiple pages you will see here navigation controls. The first button will take you to the next page and the second button will take you to the last page.
ID This Will Take You To The Previous Page
ID column displays the product ID. This number is a hyperlink that you can click on to select this item. When you click on the hyperlink this page will close and Portal Prodigy will return you to your previous page with this item already selected.
Product Item This Will Take You To The Previous Page
Product Item column displays the name of the product. This is also the primary column for sorting results. Results will be sorted alphabetically by the name of the product. The name is a hyperlink that you can click on to select this item. When you click on the hyperlink this page will close and Portal Prodigy will return you to your previous page with this item already selected.
Product Code This Will Take You To The Previous Page
Product Code column displays the product code of the found item. An item is not requested to have a product code; if product code is not defined this section will be blank. This Product Code is also a hyperlink that you can click on to select this item. When you click on the hyperlink this page will close and Portal Prodigy will return you to your previous page with this item already selected.
Back Click Here To Go To The Previous Page
The Back button will take you back to the previous page without making any changes. It's the same like the Back button in your internet browser.
Add New Click Here To See Help Page on This Topic
Add New will take you to the Add New Product Item page where you can create a new product item. Add New is a hotkey that can be accessed by "Ctrl+Alt+A".
Clear
Clear button will clear all the search results and set all the criteria filters back to default to perform and brand new search.
Print
Print button will bring up browser print dialog to print the page to the user's local printer. Print is a hotkey that can be accessed by "Ctrl+Alt+P".

Close Click Here To Go To The Previous Page
Close button will take you back to the previous page just like the back button. Close is a hotkey that can be accessed by "Ctrl+Alt+C".
