Page Manager is used by administrative users to configure page settings.  There are two specialized versions of Page Manger, Home Page Manager and Site Settings Management each having their own chapter in this guide.  Home Page Manger is used to manage your home page settings and Site Settings Management is used to manage default page settings.

Page Manager is accessed from the Management page of each feature such as Document Management, Event Management, Item Management, etc and from Page Type Manager for each Page Type.  For many of the features, Page Manager can be used to manage page settings for individual records or groups of records.  E.g. one group of product items such as cameras could have different page settings than another group of products such as cell phones.  Page Manager allows you to control just about every aspect of your web pages. Use of Page Manager is optional, as each web page will inherit the settings for its Page Type.  Page Types by default inherit the Site Settings.  Thus it is only necessary to use Page Manager when you wish to override the Site Settings.

Page Manager’s feature benefits include:

  • Standard method to configure and manage page settings.
  • Pre-defined templates (styles).
  • Ability to add your own custom templates (styles).
  • Ability to define unique headers for individual pages and for groups of pages.
  • Ability to define unique side bars for individual pages and for groups of pages.
  • Ability to define unique footers for individual pages and for groups of pages.
  • Ability to create and insert unique menus for individual pages and for groups of pages.

  • Information is instantly published and content on the page is automatically updated when feature content such as News, Events, Products, etc. are updated.
  • Ability to create feature rich and highly functional web pages without knowledge of HMTL or programming skills.
  • Easy to makes changes and add additional information.
  • Tools for Search Engine Optimization.
  • Create page collections that can be quickly changed and reused for holidays, promotions, themes, etc.
