Add a New Resource Document Category
- Read the chapter titled “Documents Features in Detail” in
the Administration Manual
- Click on the Documents browse icon on the Site
Administration Menu page.
- Click on the Categories hyperlink on the Search for
Documents page.
- Click the Add New button at the bottom of the Document
Categories page.
- On the Resource Category Management page enter the
category’s name into the Name field.
- Enter textual description of the Category. The
Description is displayed after the Category Name on the Browse Resources
by Category page. It allows you to provide an explanation of the
categories content and usage.
- Set Active to “Yes”
- Set ChapterID if you are using multi site synchronization
feature.
- Configure privacy settings as desired.
- Click on Save button
