Create a Press Release Notification Email
- Read the chapter titled “Press Release Feature in Detail”
in the Administration Manual.
- Read the chapter titled “Broadcasting Features in Detail”
in the Administration Manual.
- Create Press Release Administrator Security Group or
Decide which existing security group will a manage Press Release feature.
- Click the Broadcasting add icon on the Site Administration
Menu page.
- Select Type = Email
- Enter a sender’s address. Usually an address is set up on
organizations mail server as pressreleasemanager@yourdomain.com
- Enter “Press Release Sent Notification” into Subject
field.
- Set Object Type to PressRelease.
- Type or copy and paste the following into message field:
The Press Release feature was used by
<%CONTACT:FirstName%> <% CONTACT:LastName%>
<%PRESSRELEASE:Title%>
<%PRESSRELEASE:PressRelease%>
- Click on Save button
