Setup Soup Kitchen and Other Charity Supply Shopping, Ordering, Fulfillment and Tracking Operation.

During this process you will:

·         Define Product Catalog Categories such as Government Categories, Supply Categories, Items, etc.

·         Load Products into the Catalog including their descriptions, pictures, color, sizes, models, price, etc.

·         Implement a Product Search to enable clients to search for items within the catalog.

·         Load a Policies document to display terms, return polices, warranty, etc.

·         Load Brochures for Items

·         Configure Payment options.

·         Configure Order options

·         Define Shipping Options

·         Define New Client Signup Options

·         Define Special Client Pricing Groups

·         Configure Automated Email Signup and Order Notifications

 

Perform the following steps:

a.       Follow the steps outlined in the Quick Tutorial titled “Setup a Charity Supply Catalog and Ordering System”

b.      Import products – follow the steps outlined in the Quick Tutorial titled “Import Products” to import product data.

c.       Manually enter products - for each Item to be added, follow the steps outlined in the Quick Tutorial titled “Create a New Product Item Record”

d.      Configure default signup form to register new customers - follow the steps outlined in the Quick Tutorial titled “Build a Quick Registration Page”.  You may also implement a customer application and approval process as follows:

§         Read the chapter of Administrative Manual titled “Membership Features in Detail”

§         Follow the steps outlined in the Quick Tutorial “Administer or Activate Membership Fees Feature”

§         Follow the steps outlined in the Quick Tutorial “Create a Membership Application”

§         Follow the steps outlined in the Quick Tutorial “Define, Create and Update Membership Types”

e.       Configure Portal Prodigy Payment Features – follow the steps outlined in the Quick Tutorial titled “Setup Payment Options”.

f.       Configure Price Groups – follow the steps outlined in the Quick Tutorial “Setup Customer Price Groups and Volume Pricing”.

g.      Setup Customers - follow the steps outlined in the Quick Tutorial “Individually Enter Contacts Records” to create a customer contact record then follow the steps outlined in the Quick Tutorial “Individually Enter Company Records” to setup a company record and link the contact to the company.   Assign a Price Group to each company.
