RFQ is a special Request Type
similar to Request from Cart that is used to allow customers to request quotes
for items. Rather than selecting items
from your product catalog, the user manually enters the item information into
the form that you defined. You can
design your form to collect as little or as much information as you like to
help you identify the item. The customer submits their request. Using Request Management the RFQ items can be
priced and a Quote automatically created.
It can be configured to email the quote to the customer with a link to
your website so approve an order.
