On each license sold, you can receive a generous markup. (We
do not share these numbers publicly but you may ask your PortalProdigy contact
for details) You’ll receive a commission on annual renewal and upgrade fees
provided your business sells a minimum of three licenses during the prior
calendar year. Additionally, and
potentially your most lucrative earnings will result from add on services such
as planning, training, implementation, configuration, content transfer and
development, support, graphics and related third party product sales. You can provide these services independently,
teamed with other IBCAs, or by reselling these services which you can
sub-contract directly from PortalProdigy.
Once a customer has invested money into the initial license
and invested time into its configuration, setup and training, that customer
becomes an ideal prospect for up selling additional services.
PortalProdigy anticipates benchmarking the implementation of
PPIOP features by customers within narrow target markets and informing each
customer of the best performer’s progress. In other words, the most aggressive
PPIOP implementations will be used to motivate other PortalProdigy customers to
buy services in order to keep up with their competitors. This is a natural
approach to keeping each customer internet fit.
